Professional Belly Rubber

Pet care experience

I am fully vaccinated, so I am able to pet sit again. I love dogs. My former roommate had two Australian shepherds, I loved them and I miss having a dog terribly. Here are some reasons why you should let me take care of your dog: 1) I work at home and have a flexible schedule so I am available to take your dog for many mid-morning, lunchtime, or evening strolls and if you have a puppy, I know all about the 8 walks a day, 2) I wear a fitbit and try to get over 10,000 steps a day, so your dog will get lots of outside time, if desired, 3) I have advanced belly-rubbing skills, and 4) I am willing to get down on the floor and play tug. I mostly interested in caring for your dog overnight in your home (my building does not allow dogs) in the South End, Back Bay, Cambridge, Brighton, Newton, Watertown, Belmont, Arlington, and Somerville areas.

Martha was great with our dog! She knew how to handle him with his needs as a senior dog and when coming into the house as he can be uncertain about new people. She communicated with us with updates on how everything was going and how he was doing. Highly recommend her!

After a horrendous Rover experience with a sitter canceling less than a few days before a trip, we were so glad we gave Rover another shot…Martha was amazing! She took incredible care of our two dog babies and kept in touch with us with updates and pics throughout. We returned with two tuckered out but very happy pups. Highly recommended!

We had Martha house sit our pet for 8-9 days. She is a wonderful, kind and conscientious human being. She took great care of our pet and also kept our place neat and tidy. She was extra protective of my furbaby on walks. Also, he eats home cooked meals which has some added tasks, she did not flinch. Was inquisitive on knowing all the tips for taking good care of my pug. She deserves every bit of her quoted price, couldnt be happier. Will request her services again. Martha if you reading this- Churro misses you and sends some lickies. haha

Our first Rover experience. A success thanks to Martha caring for my arthritic 12 YO with special needs who can’t be left alone for periods of time. I feel so comfortable with her staying with my baby, I would book again with no hesitation at all!

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is important to me. I always stay in the near vicinity with pets and I am cognizant of my surroundings, When meeting other pets, I am always careful to monitor how your dog or cat might react to a unknown dog or cat.

Information Martha N. would like to know about your pet

It would be great to know: *where you normally take your dog for walks *what their normal schedule is *what types of treats/food you prefer for me to give them *where they normally sleep (if caring for your dog in your home) *if your dog tends not to like certain breeds of dogs so that I can be careful to avoid interactions with those breeds on walks.

A typical day

Since I work at home and like to walk, I can take your dog on long walks (if he/she likes them) during the day. We can also go to the park to play ball or to play with other dogs (depending on your dog's preferences)
