My partner James and I absolutely love dogs, and have both cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds since we were children. We moved to LA just a few months ago, and have a large, fenced-in yard that we are now ready and excited to share with dogs who need a place to stay while their parents are away! We both WFH and are committed to walking and playing with your pup as much as they need or like throughout the day. If your dog is very low-energy, we are well prepared for that too! James and I have a small, very relaxed, dachshund named Harry who sleeps 80% of the day. Harry gets along very well with dogs of a similar temperament, and we have plenty of room for both dogs to snooze wherever and whenever they please. We only take one dog at a time to guarantee both our guest and Harry have a comfortable and safe experience. We will make ourselves available for meet and greets prior to booking as well to ensure you are comfortable with the space and both dogs get along well. If your dog is extremely high-energy and over 30lbs, they probably aren't the best match for Harry unfortunately, who can get overwhelmed by that type of play due to his small size. We can't wait to meet you and your pup! We are happy to spend as much time as needed with pups who have suffer from separation anxiety. Our house opens up to a large yard where your dog can roam in and out as they please. Or if they need more structure, we can take them on walks or potty breaks according to their established schedule :) We have a very safe and relaxed home environment. We live on a quiet street with sidewalks and trees that is great for neighborhood dog walks. We also have a yard that dogs can use throughout the day as needed.
