My name is Martha and my family and I would love to have your dog become a member of our family while you're away! I've had many breeds of dogs all my life and love the company they bring- and understand that they are a big part of a person's life. My home is spacious, very clean and has a fenced in yard. Our dog Luna loves to lay on the grass and tan, hopefully your dog will too- please contact me for more information. Every dog is different but at the end of the day they all need love, tenderness and care, and that is something I can't wait to offer you and your pet. Looking forward to meeting your dog, see you soon :) About this sitter: My name is Martha and I recently moved to Charlotte this past November from Miami, FL. I am bilingual and a true dog lover, who has a lot of experience with caring for all sorts of dogs. I have a 32 year old daughter and am happily married :) Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog lover all my life, my family and I have always been very open when it came to a variety of breeds. I've had mutts, german shepherds, yorkies, beagles and currently an owner of a boxer mix. Dogs may not be people but they are definitely the heart of any family. Meet my pets Luna, a boxer mix! Luna is the most lovable dog that we jokingly refer to her as a 'love bucket.' She is a gentle giant and a sweetheart. She is popular at Lowes, Home Depot, etc - anywhere we take her she loves to get pet and give cuddles. Luna is great with other dogs and is always looking for a friend to do the zoomies with and play tug of war with! About my yard Our backyard is fenced in and is a good medium size. It is all grass so not to worry about dirt getting all over paws and fur/coat. My experience administering medication Any oral medication or eye drops would not be a problem.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We will take your dog on walks in our very quiet suburban neighborhood. We live in a safe area where it is common to see people taking their dogs out walking and jogging with them. So they can expect to make some friends while getting their much needed exercise. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will sleep in my bedroom in either their favorite dog bed that you'll provide or a very comfy pillow we have. Time I'll spend with your dog Currently I'm home all day so I'd be with your dog all day available for lots of playing and walks.
