I have several passions: God, my family, volunteering and saving dogs’ lives. This is exactly how I met my dog, Jesse, who I rescued back in July 2016 but now realize she was the one who rescued me. I suffer from depression and Jesse helps me so much when it hits hard. In July, I also began fostering a dog. Along with my Sidekick, Jesse, we help get these dogs family and home ready. I am so proud of my furry ambassador- she is so welcoming and friendly to all the dogs that come by. My husband, three teenage children and I are very involved with our church. Sundays are our favorite day of the week as we volunteer in our church community. I always tell my children, “when you were younger, people volunteered to help you, so it’s your turn to volunteer for others.” During our downtime, my family and I love to go to the park, the movies or just relax at home.
