Animals are one of the best blessings given to us - 'dog is a man best friend' and its so true. I've always had a passion for animals of all kinds and shapes, treat them better than my friends! I've had and looked after all different sorts from rodents, cats, dogs to birds, lizards and farm animals. I wanted to work so much with animals that debated doing veterinary school, however, life gets in a way sometimes and chose a different study direction in the end. I'm a very positive energetic person and will most definitely put any animal needs above my own. I wanted to do more for animals so try to help out where I can and last year decided to go vegan - still going strong. I think it's important to find a person who you can trust, as if you're anything like me when I had animals, they were my kids. The reason why I don't have any myself is that, although I have a lot of time for them at the moment, in a couple of years that will change. It's why I want to do this, not much for the money but the love for animals and the joy they bring to life. UPDATE: I now have a lab puppy who's as of May 3 months old. He's a friendly, happy chap who gets on with everyone!
