At home we refer to her as Trapo's older cousin -or aunt, sometimes, given the age difference. Trapo is our dog. He could sort of pass as a poodle-terrier, but I strongly believe he identifies more as a rough, street macho. He is eighteen pounds of pure bravado and no actual bravery, something that shows especially when he is around larger individuals -Dexter, Vela, or Gala, to name a few. My life has been filled with dogs in one way or the other, and the extent to which I am familiar with my dog's closest friends (and archenemies as well, as we are all allowed to have those, too) is part of my job as his personal walker, but also a result of a deep love for him and true appreciation for all dogs. I like playing and getting covered in mud, running and jumping and also laying on a couch with one or two or five dogs around me. My name is Marta. I was born in Madrid and have lived a bit here and there for the last five years of my life to end up in London, of all places, to study Politics, of all things. Along with philosophy and current events, I enjoy eating everything inside a pita-bread, listening to corny music from the 80s, and watching reruns of Ellen Degeneres. And, of course, dogs. The latter, however, are scarce in my life these days, since I live far from my family and, more importantly, Trapo. So here I am, trying to meet you (cool human to an even cooler dog).
