Pet care experience
I’m an active 25 year old working at Stanford that will happily dog-sit and adapt to your pets necesitieswith my 3 furloving housemates! I am the proud previous dog owner of 8 dogs back home in Spain and find myself missing taking care of my pets that are currently back home with my parents. I am available most weekdays and weekends to dog sit, walk or check-in, and I am very flexible with hours. I am very active and can adapt to less active pets to those that need to go on a run every morning! I will happily do a last minute one-time sitting but also open to set up a scheduled dog walk or dog sitting every week/month. I live in the Palo Alto area and willing to pet-sit within the area. We offer one dog/ house as we understand that some pups are more comfortable that way and we want to offer the best stay possible! Let us know if that’s the case.

Our dogs had a great time with Marta and her housemates. She sent pictures and occasional videos, which helped us know our dogs were enjoying themselves.
Marta is great with our dog Jinji. She has kept Jinji a few times now and I always feel comfortable leaving him with her and her housemates as he always comes back happy and seems to get a lot of attention while he’s there. Marta is very responsive and sends photos of Jinji throughout the day. I would definitely recommend her 😊.
Marta and her housemates watched our dog Libby for a weekend. Libby loved her stay and we couldn't have asked for better dog sitters! It is clear that they love dogs and know what they're doing. Marta sent lots of pictures and was very easy to communicate with.
Marta is amazing! She sent many pictures and videos, was in regular communication, and was super easy to get in touch with. While I went on vacation, I knew my doggo was getting lots of love and attention from Marta. He was on his own vacation too, being a total pampered pooch!

We live in a house with a fenced patio as well as a small park nearby. We love to let the dog roam free around the house to make him/her comfortable as they wish. However, we do like to walk leashed in case there’s any reactivity or there’s any “escape artist”!!

We do have other dogs in the neighborhood, so knowing ahead of time if your pup is ok with other dogs allows us to plan their routine to have the best time with us. Any reactivity or behaviors that you’re working on let us know so we can work on them too.
A typical day
We have the Baylands Trail right by our house, and we like to take them out where they may enjoy a long walk where they can run to their hearts content! We love taking them to dog beaches, if the owner is ok with it, and overall play with them as much as we can!

Availability
I do work full time, however I work 10 min away from home and can happily swing by when needed. I love waking up in the morning and either letting the pups out or go on a brisk morning walk to get both of us up! I luckily come home early therefore I love spending my afternoons with the pups and playing or getting all the snuggles! The owners will get regular updates about what their pup is up to!
