Hello! We're Marta and Grant and we live in the beautiful and quiet Grand Lake neighborhood, located next to Lake Merritt, Temescal, Uptown, and Rockridge neighborhoods. Our apt has a private entrance to the outside with a gated backyard with plenty of room for your pup to play and relax in the fresh air. We have flexible schedules and often work from home. We also have a small, playful, 2 year old dog name Naomi who loves having a companion. We are active people and love to go on long walks, visit the dog park (if that is part of your pup's schedule), and play with the pups we sit. We understand every dog has different needs and energy levels so we are happy to adjust accordingly to what your pup needs. We are attentive, energetic and respectful caretakers. We grew up with dogs and love all furry companions. We are happy to answer any questions you may have!

Naomi is the sweetest pup, but she is a rescue and we believe due to a past trauma or small size she is fearful of large energetic dogs. Usually after some time together both the dogs can get along, but we think for the most successful and enjoyable pup stay we cannot accept large, energetic, breeds. We can accept low energy, senior larger breeds, and smaller pups of all ages.
A typical day
Our pup, Naomi is very active so we take her on about three walks and a trip to the dog park each day. Linda dog park is a short walk from our home with a gated open area dogs can play and explore the park. We often take the short drive to Alameda dog park. Alameda is one of the best dog parks because it has two separate areas for large and small dog breeds. When not in our home, a gated yard, or in a gated dog park we will keep your pup on leash.
