Hi there, I'm Marrissa! I love dogs in ALL FORMS (I have a weakness for huskies), but most importantly feel it's gravely important for them to receive the open air and exercise they need. I've been pet sitting for over 4 years and it’s one of my favorite “jobs”, and started dog training as well! I’m one of those annoying people takes pride in the “dog mom” title. I work from home and have flexible hours; I'm able to walk away at a moment's notice if needed. I CRAVE the outdoors because I work at the computer a lot, so you can always count on me to ENTHUSIASTICALLY take your dog out for some play and walk time whether it's a short walk or pet sitting scenario. :) I’ve got an SUV for travel to dog parks, lots of toys and treats as well as two of my own well-trained pups who will have no problem loving and playing with your pup(s)! (IMPORTANT: Please let me know upfront if you're looking for a backup sitter. I put a lot of time into getting to know the dogs I sit - so please be conscious of my time by being upfront!)

Marissa did a great job of taking care of Chloe! Chloe is really scared of new people and Marissa took time out of her day to come and visit with Chloe a few times before our trip to make sure Chloe was comfortable. We also got updates with photos and videos everyday. Overall, she did an excellent job!
Dogs loved hanging with Marissa. They felt very comfortable with her and it was nice having someone watch the house while we were gone.
Marrissa was great and seemed to handle our 3 energetic dogs with ease. She was very good about sending photos/videos and I felt comfortable leaving them with her on our trip. The dogs were happy and the house looked great when we returned!

- ALL PLAY is monitored closely at all times due to what can be misread body language between dogs. My dogs are personally crate trained to ensure that rest time for each dog occurs, with your dog getting the space they need (if needed!) - I offer 3 different places for water consumption throughout the house since I do work in my office and frequent all rooms in my place. - I close all doors in the house to any "dangers" - including the cat so she can get a break from the pups (so no cat/dog fights here). - My dogs eat in their kennels; if your dogs have any resource guarding issues, I plan my dog's eating habits around theirs, so let me know. - I do provide training/reinforcement as part of the service (for free, at the moment) if you request it. We can chat in more detail about it at your leisure.

I would love to know: What rules or habits do you want to make sure I enforce continually? Is there any training they should be doing while with me? How are they with cats? What time of the day do they usually eat, need walks and need to use the restroom?
A typical day
We have a HUGE backyard for wrestling, training, playing fetch and tons of local parks to visit (and long lines!) so the dogs can get a little wild (if they want!).

Availability
I work full time from home with dogs, I walk pups 4-5 times a day to get away from the screen :) Sometimes they're 10-minute potty breaks or 20-45 minute walks to get some exercise. We take breaks in the backyard every few hours for running around, fetch, and play tug. We do all of these things in the house with our huge living room as well :)
