Hi! I'm Marlowe and I'm so excited to be your dog's next best friend. I love dogs because of their capacity to provide unconditional love. Whenever I've had a bad day, one of the best things to do is just cuddle with my dog--she always makes me feel better! You can't be sad around a dog. Their companionship on walks, the way they make a house a home, there's really nothing better than spending time with pups--that's why I became a pet sitter! All my life, my family has owned dogs. We got my first dog when I was 3 years old, and we've had dogs ever since. When I moved away and got my own place seven years ago, I rescued a dog from the humane society, and she's my only pet so far. Over the last 7 years, I have dog-sat for several of my friends, and I always love having extra pets in the house to love on. My dog, Piper, is great with other dogs--she usually just ignores them, and she likes to play with smaller dogs (she is only 22 lbs). I live with my husband, Casey. I am a teacher, so over the summer, on breaks, and on weekends, I am home most of the day. When I am teaching during the week, Casey is usually home for most of the day--he works as a freelancer in the video production industry, so if he does not have a shoot booked, he works from home. He is also great with animals and is a dog lover like I am. We have a fenced yard. It's a great place for dogs to sun-bathe in between walks.
