Hello Families & Fellow Pet Owners! My name is Marlies. ☺️ I am a Dog Mommy, Cat Mommy & Kid Mommy! We have three dogs, two cats & two young kiddos! I have been a Professional Nanny for the past 15 years! I started pet sitting for families that I was Nannying for and fell in LOVE with taking care of animals. :) I am a BIG animal lover, so pet sitting was a natural fit for me! (A dream of mine is to live on acreage with farm animals, and lots of dogs, cats & kids!) I have worked with SO many pups & kitties over the years! It's been a decent mix of small dogs, big dogs & cats, however I have also cared for birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, tadpoles & chickens! I can't wait to meet your family & your pets!

Not a great value for what she charges.
Marlies is a very compassionate animal person! She spoils all the pups in her care and loves them like they are her own. She is honest, responsible and trustworthy! I trust all my kids (2 & 4 legged) with her!
You'd be so lucky to have Marlies watch your pets. She is a lover of all animals and have such a mothering way about her with anyone's animals. She would treat your pets as her. She also great at communicating with you frequently! Highly recommend
Awesome sitter for our Pugs!!! When we picked them up, they were in good spirits! Marlies was very accommodating about pick up and drop off time. She even canceled a prior appointment which was around the same time we were ready to pick up Lola and Bertha even though I tried to convince her that she really didn't have to. She sent us pics of our Pugs almost every day while we were on our vacation in CA and it gave us reassurance that dogs seemed to be having lots of fun as well. She even asked us pertinent questions after we arrived at our destination which I totally forgot to relay to her. This was our first time using Dog Vacay and she made it a very nice first time experience.

Things I would like to know about a pup before bringing them into our home include: How they do with small kids & cats, as well as other dogs, (particularly a giant, but over-friendly Boxer!). ;-) I would like to know if they are potty and/or crate trained, what their sleeping preferences are, all about their diet and if there are any allergies. I will also ask if dog park trips are okay, and finally, what a 'day in the life' of your pup looks like! :-)
A typical day
I am open to walking in our neighborhood, as well as traveling to dog or human parks, and walking on pathways, or venturing to wooded areas and hiking through trails! :) Walking around lakes is also really nice!
