Pet care experience
Hello! I’ve been helping take care of dogs and cats alike since I was a little girl. I grew up in the country with Australian Shepards, Labs, and Beagles as well a fair amount of cats. I currently live in town with two very active huskies that I love to pieces. That all being said, I definitely prefer working with medium to large size puppies and dogs. I’m offering walking, brushing, potty breaks, and overnight stays currently. If your Buddy gets dirty during any time, I am 100% prepared to give them a bath with either just water or a shampoo that you use with them.

If a dog were to come to my house, one of my huskies is a rescue and doesn’t always get along with some dogs in our home so we would have to arrange for a time for them to meet. My other husky has never had any problems with other dogs and is friendly as friendly can be with other dogs. I do have a chain link fence that will hopefully be a privacy fence by the end of summer, but we’ll see what happens. I do have two spare bedrooms that dogs could potentially stay in.

Important information that I’d like to be aware of is if the dog has allergies, is friendly with other dogs, how they like to be walked, how far they need to be walked, how they like to play, and any red flags that the dog might have such as sore spot that they don’t like touched.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks outside of their normal route to keep them interested and giving them new smells to sniff out. If I pass by another dog walker, I always ask if the dogs can meet (so long as it’s okay with the owner) so the dog can make more friends.

Availability
I currently work part time as an RCA ( Rural Carrier Assistant) for USPS and mostly work weekends during the summer. I will be working a lot more in April and during the Christmas season.
