I’m always reluctant to write a poor review, but I’m compelled to revise my earlier rating. My dog’s health was jeapordized by this pet sitter and I’m truly disappointed. My dachshund has IVDD (a disc disorder where injury can lead to permanent paralysis) and can not sleep in bed, as she could jump down and injure herself. She has to be crated at night. The sitter was advised of this condition and agreed to the instructed care. Ava was allowed to sleep in bed. I presume she was allowed, because she was whining in her crate. I’m guessing she was whining, because she was not taken on a walk prior to bed. I know this because Ava peed in my bed. She has never done that before. Additionally there were pee spots all over the rug in my downstairs. Ava has not had an accident in the house since I moved in. Was she not taken out enough? I don’t know. I could excuse the pee on the rug, as perhaps she was stressed in my absence, but I can not excuse finding out that my care instructions were not followed, and my dog’s health was at risk, and finding pee in my bed.
