My house looked good when I returned and she was quick to respond to my short notice request for a weekend sitter. The request and payment was for her to stay over Saturday night and Sunday night. She said she would rather not stay over but she would come over as many times as I wanted. I asked how long would she stay when she visited and she said 1-2 hrs. I preferred the two hrs if she wasn’t going to stay over. I reviewed everything with her in person and left her a note. Saturday was good. She came at dinner time and returned later at bedtime to let the dogs out. On Sunday which was the only full 24 hr day she was sitting she came in the morning for about an hour. After dinner time I checked for her arrival and found she had not come over. I text her 12hrs after she had left and she responded by saying “ Sorry, with my mom. No Worries, I’ll go over shortly” I text her back “ it’s been 12 hrs”. One dog is crated the other is not. She arrived almost 13 hrs after leaving. She stayed a little over an hr. So my crated dog was without water, movement or potty brakes for 22hrs on Sunday. Monday she was on time and here for an hour. I paid approximately $98.00 for this. I’m happy I was able to get someone on short notice but she obviously is in the wrong business because you don’t leave crated dogs for that long, you don’t tell the owner you will come for 1-2 hrs per visit and stay one and you don’t commit to coming three times in a day and make 2. All I can say is thank goodness my trip wasn’t any longer. I believe I’m entitled to a refund because I paid for her to stay and she didn’t and because my dogs were poorly cared for for the majority of the weekend.

Marlene is such a dog lover! We can be at a public place and if she sees a dog she automatically falls in love with them. She owns a dog herself named Tatis and she treats her a like queen she forces me to say hello to her dog because she says otherwise she feels like I’m disrespecting her lol I know she has also watched her boyfriends dog and that’s a pretty BIG dog that might weigh as much as her but Marlene manages and loves the dog dearly. I definitely think Marlene is the right pick to be your dog sitter not because she’s my god daughter but because she doesn’t have a bad hair on her body , she’s the sweetest most caring young lady ever! Trust me if you meet her you and your dog will LOVE HER !!!
