Marlena is amazing with dogs. When she previously walked dogs she cared for sick and elderly dogs like they were her own. She placed the promptness of a walk and the dog being fed above anything else in her life or the world (be it snow or rain). As a dog mom herself she has raised potentially difficult puppies into pups with unexpectedly calm temperaments with love, vigilante care and just plain socializing them. Her current dog, a chihauhau, is best friends with a cat and regularly plays with both a coon hound and bulldog. When she recently saw her neighbor had obtained a very battered and scared pitbull, which he was in no position to take care of (the dog was just tied to the front stoop!) she took the dog into her own house and bathed, fed and put the dog on a quick path to actually having a good, caring home. She did this for no reason other than she saw a dog that needed care and gave it. She's a friend to all animals but she really knows and loves dogs. I would highly recommend her as a dog walker and caregiver.

Marlena is wonderful with pets, she has worked with us at wag the dog for a while. We have been around for over 7 years romping around in the PHILLY pet world, we are happy she worked with us in that time. She has a twinkle in her eye when she is engaged with them.
