Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs and have been a rescue dog owner. I am a Social Worker and love helping others. As an empty nester, I enjoy the freedom of not being a pet parent, but sorely miss dog companionship! I also recognize the importance of not having to board your dog and have your loved one be able to be in the comfort of home. I enjoy dog sitting and dog walking for family and friends and decided to branch out to help others in need by using Rover! My flexible schedule will allow me to be available to meet your and your dog’s needs! I’m willing to watch a dog in my home (although no fenced yard) or yours. Let me spoil your pup!

I have known Marleen for years and she has always had a huge heart for animals. I have personally seen her interact with her own dog in the past as well as taking care of others animals. I have a shih tzu poodle mix and Marleen has always been great with him. I would feel very confident leaving him with her for any length of time. She is responsible and caring. I also know her to be detail oriented. I would have no doubt she would completely take care of any instructions that if I left her on my dogs care. Above all I would be sure that my dog would get plenty of attention and love. I highly recommend Marleen!
Marleen has walked my Australian Shepherd when I am at work. She always walks her way farther than I do! I tell my Aussie when Marleen is coming, and she gets excited. She does not bark at Marleen like she would bark at strangers approaching my house. Marleen took care of my dog at her house when I needed to be out of town. I returned to a healthy, happy dog.
