Gives one unforgettable belly rub! Grew up in at home boarding facility, life long passion for animals and their care. Have held several positions in kennel and shelter facilities, as well as a self established house sitting and dog walking business in home town. Dogs happiness and well being are my top priority, willing to go the extra mile (literally) to make sure you're pet has enough exercise, attention, and treats. I have the knowledge and experience to handle a wide variety of dogs and their specific needs, medical and behavioral. Have also been a life long member of St. Bernard rescue, as well as experience in grooming and training. Persuing the care of animals is a lifelong dream I hope to bring with me in my travels.

We had a sitter cancel on us 12 hours before we left for a 10 day vacation. Rover contacted about 10 people to try to find a last minute replacement and Marlee was one of the people that replied. We began messaging back and forth about the situation (as I am going into full panic mode in Target) and she immediately made me feel comfortable and reassured. She drove 45 minutes to our house about 3 hours after initial contact to meet us and the dogs. The entire time we were gone she kept us updated daily with photos and texts. We have two pretty quirky pups, and they both seemed COMPLETELY comfortable with Marlee, which is huge! We honestly can’t say enough good things about her. Thank you Marlee!! Marlee was great with my dog and really demonstrated her love for animals. Marlee demonstrated a great level of professionalism with her on-time check-ins and she always kept me up to date on how my dog was doing. I would highly recommend Marlee to anyone looking for a dog sitter in the Athens area and I will definitely look to book her again in the future.
Ever since I've known Marlee she's been a lover of animals, always trying to help strays and bringing them into her home, just like her mother :) I found a stray kitten and she took it in and gave it a wonderful home with lots of love. She used to take care of my animals when I left town, and if we lived close enough still she would be the first I would even think to call!
I've known Marlee for several years. She was an employee of mine when I managed a pet store and I also would hire her to watch my crew of dogs when I went away. I do not just trust anyone to watch my dogs. I am a professional pet sitter now and hold high standards and would never leave my dogs with someone I felt could not take care of them as if they were "family". I put trust and faith into Marlee to give her codes to my house and care for my 3-4 (who knows.. I lose track of how many I have/had). She is professional and trustworthy. My dogs absolutely loved her. I just wish she were here now at my disposal!! It is hard to find someone you would allow into your home and trust with not only your pets, but your belonging. Marlee is a class act!
