Pet care experience
I am a highly experienced pet sitter and a Belmont grad who would love to take care of your pets! I am a reliable animal lover who will tend to your pets in the comfort of their home or minewhile you are away! Growing up, I always had multiple dogs and a cat, and I have been pet sitting for many years on a daily basis. My schedule is very flexible, so your pets would get the love and attention they deserve. Your pets will always be in wonderful hands, so you do not have to worry while you are away! For residents of ICON in the Gulch- I have key access throughout the building. Why I love dog sitting I have ALWAYS been a dog lover! I also love cats! Throughout my life I have lived with a samoyed, four golden retrievers, and a cat. I started pet sitting a few years ago to be around dogs more since I don't have one in my home in Nashville. It has been such a wonderful, fulfilling, and successful experience! I take care of many awesome dogs on a daily/regular basis and have also met some fantastic people in the process. Marla was wonderful! First, she was able to put us at ease that all would be well, we'd always had friends house sit at our place in past and were not sure how they would behave at a strangers house. She was very accommodating. I had to have friend drop the boys off for me and she worked with our travel schedule for the pick up too. It was great to get a text now and then with photo or two... It is possible the dogs had a better view on their vacation than we did on ours. I would definitely recommend Marla to others!
Marla was great with our high energy Golden Retriever! She was very accommodating -- she met us on our side of town and even let us pick him up at 2am! We received updates and pictures everyday which was comforting, and we were grateful that she spent time taking him to the dog park. I would highly recommend Marla as a pet sitter!
Highly recommend Marla! She is very prompt, reliable, and flexible! She obviously loves animals - my puppy loved her too! You will feel very comfortable leaving your pet in her hands!

A typical day
Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will sleep wherever your dog would like to sleep or if you have any specifications! Time I'll spend with your dog I am generally home for most of the day so your pet will receive a great deal of attention. If your pet stays with me, I will take him/her out for a walk every 4-8 hours, depending on my schedule that day. Often times, it will be even more frequent than that.
