I've taken care of both dogs and cats for the last 10 years or so. My family has relied on me to house sit for them regularly, involving walking, feeding, kenneling and administrating oral medications to both older and younger dogs; along with the occasional bath. I've never met a dog that I haven't made friends with and I look forward to making lots of new friends 😁

Markus is responsive, flexible, and so attentive to my Terrier mix. My pup has a ton of energy, but also loves snuggling up on the couch, and Markus always makes him feel right at home. I know Indy is always in great hands with him, and would recommend him to anyone!

I try to adapt everything I do to fit each individual pets needs. The closer I can stick to their normal routine the better, and I'll do anything in my power to help your pet feel comfortable with me in your home. I'm comfortable kenneling dogs if necessary.

Any notable dislikes, like no touching paws or no butt pats etc. It's also helpful to know how they usually respond to new people, I can make friends with just about any pet I meet, but it's nice to know how careful I need to be before I meet them.
A typical day
In a home sitting situation, I like to stick to their normal schedule as much as possible. I find sticking to a routine they're familiar with can reduce some of the stress of having a new person in the house. So if they have a lot of energy I do my best to match it, and if they enjoy the slower side of life I can meet them there too.

Availability
My schedule is currently wide open most of the week. I will only be unavailable on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings. Otherwise, other than going home to take care of my own pets, I'm ready to help out anytime.
