A typical day
I usually start by coming in and letting the pet(s) get used to my presence in their space. Depending on how they react I spend a lot of time petting at the start of the visit. Then make sure food and water is good. Dogs I'll take on a nice long walk. Cats I find their favorite indoor toys. The rest of the visit I spend giving them love or playing depending on their energy level. ❤️

Pet care experience
My family has always had pets, and they just make life better! I've had several puppies, several bigger dogs (Staffy, Burmese Mountain dog), the whole spectrum. I've cared for a wide array of cats as well, of all ages and temperments. I don't currently have a fur baby as I have been travelling for work the last year, so I'm likely having withdraws. I can't wait to meet your furry family!

Markie has taken care of my dogs many times and I have always been pleased! She showers them with love, takes them on long walks and treats them as if they were her own. On one occasion, one of my dogs needed medical attention. She called me, quickly got them to the vet and took excellent care of her until I was able to return home. My dogs and I can't recommend "Aunt" Markie highly enough, she's awesome!
Markie is dog and pet obsessed!! She takes incredible care of my 3 year old Golden Retriever who is still a bundle of energy. Markie interacts and treats Indy like it's her own dog. Some days I feel that Indy is more excited to see her than me!! Markie goes above and beyond by texting over pictures of them playing, leaving me information on treats that would be best for my pup, and cares for him the way I would. Above all, it's so refreshing to have the peace of mind that my dog is okay and looked after with such care when Markie is around.
Markie always treated our dog the very best! Always played with him, made sure he was well taken care of, and we always came home to him in good spirits. She was one of the only sitters we trusted with him. Rex lived to be 14 years old, and spent most of our vacations with Markie. She is great, and I would trust her with any pets we have.
