Vaccinated Five-Star Sitter
Pet care experience
**Vaccinated with Johnson & Johnson on April 8th** As digital nomads, my girlfriend and I take care of our clients' homes and pets all over the world. We are now accepting bookings for the Central Florida area for the months of September and October 2021. While our home base is in Miami, I have completed over 50+ assignments through multiple sites including Rover. These assignments involved taking care of all kinds of pets in the USA from New Hampshire to the Florida Keys. We also have taken care of homes/pets all over Mexico and Cape Verde. **How I fell in love with pets.** It all began with Flower and Five Star, the best two friends I ever had growing up. More than just cats, they were lifelong companions whom I was fortunate to enjoy 18/19 years of their lives. As a result, I truly understand what your pet(s) means to you. Eventually, I started taking care of neighbor's pets including dogs but I knew I needed more experience and proof of my abilities. That's when I started house & pet sitting on a professional basis since 2017. Since then, I have taken care of a wide variety of dogs for Chihuahuas to Goldendoodles. Not only in addition to taking care of dogs, but I also take care of cats. While my experience is not as intensive with cats and dogs, I've taken care of birds, chinchillas, fishes, and guinea pigs. Why consider me for your next house sitting assignment Since I work online, I travel and work in most major cities, usually for a few months at a time. This allows me to be flexible with my availability and taking care of your pets. It also gives me an opportunity to build up my professional house sitter resume as a nomadic house sitter. Rover offers a win-win opportunity with house-sitting for you and me. My clients have requested that I let them know when I'm back in their area to take advantage of my availability. I've successfully completed housesits on Rover (and other platforms) in multiple states which demonstrates my ability to commit as a nomadic housesitter. As a result, you can plan ahead with peace of mind knowing I'll be in your area to take care of your home and pets. Contact me if you have any concerns or questions.
Reviews
I would highly recommend Mark! He moved in and took care of my 4 dogs and 1 senior cat. Upon returning my dogs were happy and content. My house was cleaner then when I left , things had been washed and sanitized. Mark is an excellent communicator, he sent me pictures and kept me updated as one of my dogs was stressed just seeing our luggage. I would certainly use Mark again !
Mark was awesome! Our pets were happy and well cared for. We appreciated coming home to a clean house. We’ll certainly work with Mark again for our future trips.
I have been using Rover services for 3+ years now and by far, Mark is the best! My Bonnie was so relaxed with him and I knew right away that with Mark, my beloved Bonnie came first. He was so attentive not only to Bonnie but to my home as well and my trust with him is 150%. He is a warm caring man and when I saw how comfortable Bonnie was, I knew he was the one! THANK YOU MARK! :):)
Mark is good and would recommend him ask but a friend or neighbor

As with all of our past clients, we take care of your pets per instructions. If your pet has a specific diet or requires medication, we will make sure they stick to those instructions. As for your home, we treat your home as if it was our grandparents' home. With the utmost care and respect.
Information Mark M. would like to know about your pet
To be honest with you, I'm more than happy to take care of all dogs & cats of all shapes, sizes, quirks, and personalities. For some strange reason, most (not all) dogs & cats usually warm up to me right away after a few minutes of sniffing me out. There are those shy ones that will bark or scurry behind their owners for a few moments but almost always without fail, the shy ones eventually warm up to me. While I do accept assignments without meeting the pets first, I do encourage a meet and greet if I'm in the area. Not only will it give your pets a chance to get familiar with me, it will also give us a chance to get to know each other as well as learn more about any specific needs your pets have.
A typical day
As a house-sitter, a typical day starts with me greeting your pets in the morning and checking to see if they are okay or if they need to use the bathroom immediately. Afterward, if they are hungry, I make sure they eat according to your instructions. If house sitting and your dogs love walks, they will get two long walks (30 to 60 minutes) before lunch and an hour after dinner, and two short walks (an hour after breakfast and in the middle of the afternoon. Otherwise, if it's for a drop-in visit or a dog walk session, I always enjoy the opportunity to go for long walks (a.k.a. hikes). And if there's a fenced dog park nearby as well, by all means, I'm more than happy to spend up to an hour letting your dog play around.

Availability
Since I work remotely online, it's very easy for me to accommodate your pet's schedule, especially if house sitting. Nothing like taking a break in the middle of the day to stand up and walk with your dog or play with your cat.
