Pet care experience
Lifetime of experience with mostly dogs. I seem to have a special connection with them. The dog chooses us in many ways and when I visit someone new who has a dog I always seem to get along with them no matter the breed. I have experience with small to large. I am fully retired with extra time to care and love your dog. I am available days, nights and on weekends. I do travel and will work with you ahead of time on those dates. I have a fenced side yard that will easily contain medium to large dogs. There is plenty of shade in the yard for hot summer days and a walking path is close by.

I care for pets with consistent social interaction, exercise and basic needs (feeding, etc.). Each animal is different and I adjust to their behavioral elements. My home is very clean and safe for pets of all types. I ONLY TAKE 1 DOG AT A TIME OR 2 IF THEY ARE FROM THE SAME HOME. Your pet will not have to interact with other pets he/she does not know. My goal is to provide animals with very easy transitions from their house to mine and to keep any anxiety they may have very low.

A typical day
Plenty of exercise is important for any breed. Activities really depend on the dog and it’s willingness. I do anything from ball fetching to mentally stimulating interaction. I provide 2 - 45 minute walks per day.

I am in and out during the day but home for most of it. Your dog or cat may be on their own for 2 or 3 hours at a time.
