Caring, responsible, loving to all

Pet care experience

Since I was ten years old I have had a dog and have taken care of her (with some help) since then. I take care of my dog alone half the time because my parents are divorced and every time we go to my father's house he is way too busy to take care of her. In addition, my dog was recently diagnosed with brain inflammation about 5 months ago and ever since I have been home from college I have helped out in giving her medicine that requires putting a pill in a "meatball" (we like to call it) twice a day. On top of that, my dog has had many stomach issues so she has been given a specific type of food her entire life. I say this to let clients know that whatever they may ask of me to do for their dog, regardless of what kind illness their pup may have, I will be more than happy to do it. I am 19 years of age so I understand that some clients may be hesitant to call on my name for taking care of their dog but I would like to say that because I am only 19 I would like to think I am more ambitious, fun and willing to do any task they ask me to do than any other dog sitter. I want to take care of dogs as I absolutely love dogs and am confident that I will treat them well and responsibly.

Dear Rover.com, I am Mark's cousin, who I have grown really close to over the years. While we love each other very much, if you put that aside, there is no one I would rather recommend for this position. Whenever I am at his house, he has his dog in his hands, caring, petting, and making sure she is ok. His dog's name is Carmela, and while she is really needy at times, Mark is always there for her. He is like that with dogs, he loves all of them and wants the best for them. He is consistent with feeding them, talking them on walks, and how he cares for them. I can go on and on about how great he is with dogs, but it's not just his caring for dogs, but with everyone around him. He is a loving and personable man who will take care of others around him. For all these qualities that he possess, I think he is a great fit at Rover.com. Sincerely, Nick
