Nice Dogs welcome in NW London

Pet care experience

We are near Gladstone park, in Cricklewood/Dollis Hill area, on a quite street. Garden flat, (Ground floor) and own entrance. Family with 2 kids between 17 and 22 years old. Total of 35 years experience with dogs. Owned dogs (small to large) for 28 years in the family. Breeds: Boxer (2), Great Dane (3), Doberman, mini pinscher, Yorkshire terrier, mix cross breeds. Experienced with two litters of puppies (Boxer x Dobermann) 7 years experience working with other people's dogs: dog boarding, dog walking, day care, including puppies, rescued and senior dogs. Dog walking at least twice a day, for a minimum of 40 minutes in Gladstone park, Queen's Park, Tiverton Green, King Edward VII or Hampstead Heath. During school term, walks are around 9am and 4pm, after the school run. During weekends and school holidays, walks are usually at 10:30am and 4:30pm. Depending on the dog and weather, we also walk around lunchtime. Maximum of 3/4 dogs walking at the same time. Dog owners can always be updated via this App, WhatsApp, text message, through Facebook/Messenger or skype. We appreciate if dog owners complete the Dog info on this App and sign any relevant written consent form to: Use enrichment e.g. toys and scatter feeders Give any preventive treatment Walk their dog with other dogs from different households Walk their dog outside the home environment / garden Let a dog off-lead Additional Skills Oral Medication Administration Special Needs Dog Experience Senior Dog and puppies Experience Can provide daily exercise and 24/7 supervision References from dog owners can be provided on request. DBS checked, fully licenced, insured. Dogs are never left alone or unsupervised. I only accept friendly dogs. Dogs should be fully assessed by me in order to accept the booking. First meeting with the owner is usually in the park, a neutral place. I check how the dog walks, interacts with other dogs, plays with children, balls, reactions from noise, bikes, runners, squirrels and make sure I ask the owner of any other information I should be aware of. If your dog is staying over for the first time, I try to arrange for the dog, to be delivered earlier in the day rather than later. (some dogs that stay with us regularly, our home becomes familiar to them that it’s like their second home or a holiday home, camp) We always try to sensitively discourage owners making a big deal about leaving their dog as it can cause them to feel unsettled. Once owner has left, we allow the dog to come in and have a sniff around, give them a treat and quite soon into their arrival clip on their lead and take them for a walk. This helps the dog to create a bond to us and to return back to their new home away from home with us. We try as best we can with our schedule permitting, for at least the first couple of days to stick to his routine, what the dog would normally have at home. Routine grooming and other health issues must be agreed with the owner (cleaning of eyes, brushing, teeth, ears, nails and inspection for parasites. We have professional cleaning of the flat and car, on a weekly basis, if dogs have been boarded. On a daily basis, we keep all areas clean and disinfected. Puppies and dogs under one year of age We give extra care and attention, therefore we only accept one puppy under the age of one. If the puppy is not house trained, dog is kept in the kitchen, with training pads or newspaper on the floor, his toys, bed, according to his routine. And there is direct access to the garden. Thank you for trusting us to care for your dog. Animal boarding licence from Brent council, London

I had a good experience with Mark, he came in time and Charlie was tired enough to get to sleep after it, exactly what I needed. We met few days before for a couple of minute as he wanted to meet Charlie and that gesture made me feel really comfortable as I could see my dog confident around him. Thanks
