I am happy to have the opportunity to write a letter highly recommending Mark Hoover as a pet-sitter. Mark is a very friendly, respectable, warm and a dependable person who has given exceptional care to my dog and cat. My German shepherd, Wilbur, thinks the sun rises and set on Mark. Whenever Mark comes, Wilbur becomes very happy and excited. Mark played with him before they walked. He also played with my cat Bubbles. Mark has taken good care of Wilbur and Bubbles when I have been out of town on several occasions and again when I had surgery on my leg. Mark walked Wilbur three times each day. Mark was an excellent dog walker for me. I have an extremely high energy German Shepherd Dog named Xena. Mark did a wonderful job with her during their orientation. This is always a big test for me as some people shy away from Xena's energy. It was clear from the start that Mark is a professional who genuinely loves dogs and takes pride in his job. Mark was always on time, promptly let me know when he arrived and informed me how each visit went. There was a specific instance on a rainy day where Xena had tracked mud into the house. Mark texted me to ask where he could find extra paper towels to clean up the mess. Little acts like that go a long way and mean a lot to an owner who is entrusting his pet and home to a stranger. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for a kind, courteous, and loving dog walker/sitter. The only bad thing I can say is that he is moving too far away to keep walking Xena!!
