I have house/pet sit for a couple that I know for about 10 years. They own 4 dogs but also have fosters come through continually from the local shelters. I enjoy seeing the dogs coming in to a loving home and getting a second chance at life. I'm divorced and live alone now and retired at age 50. I can dog sit at my home, drop in and walk/feed or even house sit if the dog(s) wouldn't be comfortable leaving their home. If house sitting is the preference I would require meeting the dog first with at least one of the owners present, especially if the dog(s) are medium or large size. I'm in excellent physical shape, so walking or even running them is no problem.
