I'm 40. I've had two dogs from real small puppyhood, other full grown rescues, plenty of cats, fish, birds and a snake, throughout my life. I really love all animals.... Except spiders. Where i live i cant have any pets. I met this dude once through a mutual friend, and was invited to play some video games. He kept his dog away cause he was sure if it wouldn't be friendly. I said i wasn't scared, that i love all dogs. He let him out and the dog barked, jumped on the couch and plopped his head in my lap. The guy was in disbelief. He'd never seen his dog take to someone so quickly. A little kitty was darting accross the bridge on southern blvd. She was hit by the car in front of me. I scooped it up and rushed her over to the ASPCA on belvedere by the turnpike. I thought she'd be ok... she was looking at me...meowing. I asked the attending vet to contact me with news... The poor little fella had a fatal head injury and died soon after the scan. I'm sorry to tell a sad story but it's some of my experience I've had recently.
