Although Marissa was friendly to me, when I got Wilbert home he displayed very worrisome behaviors. He acted ravenously hungry, wolfing down his food instead of following me around like normal, then he went in the backyard and ate three whole permissions. That's a ton of food for an 18 lb. Dachshund. When I sat down to pet him I saw he had an open sore above his tail where he chews on himself when he's bored or lonely. He seemed desperate for attention, making fierce little whines I've never heard from him before. Later he went and hid in his kennel which is his security blanket, which he normally doesn't do. Unlike other sitters I've booked through Rover where Wilbert would come home happy and satisfied, this time he seemed very anxious and miserable and I spent the whole evening comforting him until he got close to normal. With all these signs of distress from my dog, I will definitely not re-book this sitter.
