I love dogs because of their sweet and enthusiastic personalities! No matter the circumstance, they are full of love and life. One of my favorite experiences with a pup was when I met a sweet, three-legged dog named Axel, who despite his missing leg, was full of enthusiasm and joy. He was so thrilled that he had three working legs! Dogs accept and love without hesitation and if I can live my life with similar positivity and optimism, I feel I will be a better person. I’ve had 15+ years of experience caring for pups, including raising my 14 year old beagle, Maddie. My family got her when she was only three and half pounds and when our eyes met, it was love at first sight! I have dog sat for a large, adorable mutt named Mambo, a French Bulldog named Tillie, and many more! All of the dogs I’ve cared for have been different ages, have had different care instructions, and different energy levels. I’m happy to cater to any and all needs your pup might have! I currently have 2 cats: Watson & Jarvis. I love kitties and have been often been called a cat whisperer! I care for lots of cats of all ages and behavior types. I have experience medicating difficult cats like my own, Watson. I can give liquid meds, pills, transdermal meds, and inhalers to cats. Though I’ve primarily cared for dogs and cats, I also have experience caring for gerbils! Growing up, I had 20 gerbils! I loved, and yes, I named every single one of them. I just love furry friends. I know how difficult it is to be away from your furry friend so I’ll be in constant contact, sending photo and text updates to let you know your pet is safe and healthy. I can’t wait to be there to snuggle, play, and care for your fur baby! I am a professional opera singer and also have a remote “normal person” job. I can typically do my remote job while housesitting and will keep you posted on any conflicts with my operatic jobs. I only care for pets in their own homes, but I am always very cautious and safe. I have never had an escape artist succeed in their quest. With my crazy cats, I’m an expert at dealing with expert escape artists! I am also very attentive to owner notes about dog personalities. If your dog doesn’t get along well with other people or dogs, I’ll make sure to follow whatever guidelines help your dog stay safest!
