Pet care experience
Hello! I am a friendly, active person who has always been drawn to animals. I personally own horses, goats and dogs but have worked with a variety of different animals over the years. One of my favorite things is going on walks and hikes accompanied by a four legged buddy. I have always owned animals and I have taken care of others animals for the past 15 years and it is something I truly enjoy. I love being able to work with different breeds and types of animals. Due to my own pet's circumstances, I have some experience with animal wound care (post-op) and giving medications both orally and through injection. I have always had large dogs (Great Dane, American Bulldog, etc.) so I have a soft spot for the big guys but I appreciate the opportunity to work with all breeds and sizes. Marissa was the perfect petsitter for my 3 cats while I was away. She followed all of my detailed instructions for feeding and caring for them, as well as bringing in the mail, etc - and even brought in the cushions on my patio for me when I heard rain was imminent! I really appreciated Marissa taking time to interact and get to know my kitties and give them the kind of care I would. Even my "scaredy cat" took a liking to Marissa! I enjoyed seeing the "report cards" with photos after each visit too as that was a great way to keep me updated on how everyone was doing and how each visit went. I highly recommend Marissa!

Marissa took the time to meet us the night before to get acquainted with the pups and get a general overview of their needs and the layout of the house. She is a very happy and personable person with a kind heart who you can just tell will take the absolute best care of your pets. The dogs took to her immediately and they had such a blast when she came over. She sent us several pictures and made sure to check in and out when she left. I would recommend Marissa to anyone who wants the best care for their fur babies. :)
Marissa is a wonderful pet sitter. Not only is she an animal lover, she really has a wonderful way of connecting with animals. Marissa has taken care of my Dog on numerous occasions. Marissa has taken care of my Dog in my home and also has taken my Dog to her ranch. When Marissa arrives at my home, my Dog gets so excited to see her. In fact, I am pretty sure my Dog loves Marissa more than me :-) When I have taken my Dog to Marissa's ranch, my Dog never wants to come home and so I highly recommend Marissa for the care of dogs or any other animal.
