Hello all! My name is Marissa, and I simply love dogs! I grew up with dogs, a border collie, sheltie, and boxer, and also cared for my own for many years. When I lost my furry best friend (boxer) about 4 years ago, I started a volunteer shift in the kennel at the West Suburban Humane Society to help the grieving process. It's been wonderful being able to help other dogs find their forever homes, and give them the extra attention everyone deserves before they do! Though I am now unable to have a dog in my building, I do have the availability in my day to continue to help those that have forever homes but still need a little extra care during the day! I am beyond excited to help out, get to know your dog, and give him/her that extra attention he/she needs when needed! Happy walking!
