Pet care experience
I have been caring for neighbors pets since I was little; including walking, pet sitting, & checking in on them. I am often told I have the “magic touch” with cats due to my calm & caring personality. I own three cats & my 15 year old dog passed away last year- I have experience handling older dogs. I am open to working with any pets & I genuinely enjoy it! :)

Marissa has dog sat for us several times and we highly recommend her. She is very attentive and makes sure to follow all instructions we provide for taking care of our dog. She communicates and will share pictures to keep us connected while we are away. She is very responsible and makes the care of our dog a priority. She is the best at taking care of any animals.
Marissa is very passionate about animals. She has three cats that she spends time with and takes care of at our house. She also frequently took the dog out for walks around the house and parks. I think Marissa would do a fantastic job and enjoy taking care of other people's cats or dogs.
I have never seen anyone who is more of a cat whisperer than Marissa. All cats are attracted to her instantly, no matter how grumpy or shy they are. She was able to care for my two cats and give them the quality love and affection they needed. She also is able to interact with all types of dogs and make them feel right at home.

A typical day
I am a recently retired college athlete who loves being outside in the sun, exercising, & exploring nature. I used to take my dog on many hikes around our town & even let him take a dip in the water.

I am commuting to GWU Mon-Thurs evenings for classes. I always have morning/ early afternoon availability & days off to care for pets. I have availability on weekdays too!
