Pet care experience
Ive been around dogs my whole life. I’ve had a small Maltese dog growing up and had her for 13 years. I am knowledgeable in taking care of senior dogs and experienced in strict schedules/medications. I am also experienced in creating good habits as I’ve gone to training sessions for 2 years with my own dog.

Marissa was absolutely wonderful to work with. She sent pictures, gave us frequent updates, and made it so much easier to be away from our pup for the first time. She even took our dog out for a pup cup of ice cream near the end of his stay and made sure that Oliver had an amazing time. Additional kudos to Marissa's own dog (Ollie) for being so tolerate of (and a good example for) our energetic puppy. We will absolutely use Marissa again and I thoroughly recommend her.
Our dog had the best time with Marrissa and her dog. Lots of walks, play time and cuddles. We have used her twice and won't hesitate to use her again.
Willow loved her stay with Marissa! We received lots of updates and photos. It was a great experience and we will bring Willow back again!

If you are interested in boarding, your pup must be crate trained for night time safety purposes. It is a new environment for your pup and I want to ensure they are safe and comfortable throughout the night. I do not provide crates so please make sure to bring your own. I have a playful 2 year old black lab that can keep your pup company. He is also crate trained. I have a fenced dog park and a retail/restaurant space downstairs that we can use for walks. There is also a nice bike path right behind us we can use for walks! We are very active in this house and go on a lot of walks/runs. Your pup is guaranteed to get their daily exercise (both mental and physical).

A typical day
Mental and physical stimulation is important in our house. I have toys in the house and a dog park at my apartment. There’s also a bike path we can use and we can go to the parks right across the street!

Availability
I work a full time job but am flexible. I am very active and go on multiple walks a day or one long walk (a few miles) depending on your pup’s needs and your requests. I am typically more free in the afternoons. For boarding, drop off and pick up will usually be easier in the afternoon.
