Pet care experience
I have grown up taking care of neighbor's and friend's pets. I can administer medicine by needle (diabetic treatment) and know some tricks when giving animals pills. I understand the needs of a specific diet and will try to mimic as much as I can to what your preferences are. I've taken care of small dogs, large dogs, cats, chickens, guineas, roosters, turkeys, and horses. I have two dogs of my own. They are both Whippets and love to run. I know what it's like to have a high energy dog and would be more than happy to play, walk, or run with your animals. I will also give you updates about your pets while you're away. I have no breed preferences however I would like to know of any medical conditions and dietary needs. Along with how the animal's demeanor is around other animals and strangers. I'd also like to know the animal's normal daily routine. I'm a full time student at the University of North Texas and have a flexible schedule to drop in periodically.
A typical day
I will walk wherever the animals are familiar and comfortable with. Dog parks, neighborhoods, and park pathways. We can have play time outside or inside. I would like to mimic the animals routine as well as possible. Late night walks may possibly be performed at dusk before it gets dark in neighborhoods that are unfamiliar to me.
