Pet care experience
Growing up I had dogs and cats that I helped look and love after. I got my first job at the age of 16 working at a boarding facility for a year. My favorite part was getting to know different personalities and behaviors regardless of the breed or age. In addition, I worked at a vet clinic as a vet assistant for 3 years so I have plenty of experience with medication and insulin if needed.

Marissa was kind, professional, and considerate in caring for my two cats. She came by a few days to meet my cats and me, and to see what responsibilities she would have while I was away. Marissa sent photos every day and checked in the evening I was coming home to make sure I had made it safely. Would certainly recommend and will be using Marissa in the future!
Marissa was absolutely wonderful with our dogs! Especially our older one who can be pretty shy and standoffish at first. She kept us updated when we were out of town and sent pictures. I would highly recommend her!
Marissa was excellent! She was very prompt in communicating with us and worked around our schedule perfectly. We got great pictures while we were away too! Our family will definitely contact her again when we need someone to watch our fur babies.

A typical day
In a typical day, I like explore the neighborhood or any surrounding parks/fields. If your pet needs yard exercise rather than walks, I can also do that. You can always expect pictures and updates on how they do.

Availability
I am currently working part time and going to school at MSU so drop-ins and dog walking fits best with my schedule. Feel free to reach out with any dates (in advance or last minute) and I will try my best to accommodate. **note: Due to class times and work, I’m not always able to respond within my response time period that my profile shows. I haven’t figured out how to adjust that on rover. I will get back to you as soon as I can!**
