Marissa was fantastic and made sure do be with my dog the whole time. She allowed my dog to make himself at home and she has a dog park right next to her. She was so kind and loving to my dog.

I was leaving my Dane, Appee, for the first time and initially had no concerns since I was leaving her with a dear friend. That friend fell through last minute so I was left scrambling to find someone I trusted enough to ensure she would be well cared for. I setup a number meet and greets and still Was not quite comfortable enough so was contemplating backing out of trip. I decided to make one last effort with Marissa. Appee loves all people but makes it clear when she is comfortable by her demeanor and “the lean” when she is pet by the right human/s. From the start Marissa showed such a warm and welcoming demeanor to Appee that they nodnwd almost immediately. Then Marissa was so patient and willing to show me the places she would take Appee while I was away. Tour included the dog park right next door, a courtyard where others let their dogs out to play and most importantly where Appee would call home. Marissa has created a warm haven for animals to help with any anxiety they may have being away from their humans. Once Marissa was able to comfort Appee enough in a different home, she turned her attention to me to answer any and all questions. She was very thorough talking me through everything question/concern I had. The care she was showing with making me comfortable (while Appee was already laying at Marissa’s feet for scratches) sold me that I could leave Appee there and she would be cared for by Marissa as if Appee were her own. Marissa has an uncanny way of easing anxiety in animals and humans and i would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving home to leave their animal. I will be using Marissa for sure down the road when I have to leave Appee again. Thank you so much for all you do Marissa!!! ??
