Hi :) My name is Marissa and I have been taking care of the pets of friends and family for most of my life. I am now working as a researcher at UW, but in my free time I am a long dog walker and pet sitter located in Seattle. I am experienced with dogs of all ages and breeds, having worked in an animal shelter for several years and from growing up part time on a small farm. These experiences have made me knowlegdable about dog and cat care and breed specific habits. I also have been trained in pet CPR and grew up with dogs of my own. I am also a cat owner and have years of experience taking care of cats as well. I love exercise, such as walking and running, but also enjoy spending time with quiet or more elderly animals just relaxing. Under my care, your pet will be in good hands. If we seem like a good fit, please contact me, I always love meeting new pets ♡ I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and well suited to local drop-ins and walks. If there is a timing conflict, I am often able to rearrange my schedule. I always make sure to be careful when leaving or entering a house, to avoid escapes. I am happy to sweep or remove dangerous items from a space if requested during a time when you may be away from home. Of there are any complications with the visit, I will message you immediately with photos so we can find the best strategy to keep your pet healthy and happy.
