Pet care experience
I grew up with a dog always in the house, and seek them out wherever I am. I can match your dog’s pace, or gently push them to better fitness. I can respect a dog who wants their space, but I’m also welcoming of dogs who want to be in my space. I’m familiar with most harnesses and collars, I have no problem picking up after the dog on walks, and I am perceptive of my surroundings, making me aware right away of anything that might set off a dog. I’ve looked after dogs with a variety of personalities, haven’t found one yet that I can’t roll with. I understand the relationship we have with our dogs, and I understand how important it is that you leave your best friend with someone that you trust. I look to earn your trust, as well as your canine’s.

Marissa is dependable, hard-working, and responsible. She is excellent with pets and my Shiloh adores her. In Shiloh's younger days, she and Marissa ran a 5K together. Shiloh is now moving into her senior years and Marissa is careful and attentive to her needs. The sight of Marissa will make Shiloh's tail wag and her butt wiggle with excitement knowing she & Marissa will soon be playing fetch, tug of war, or enjoying a nice walk around the neighborhood. I know that Shiloh is in good hands when she is in Marissa's care!
Marissa isn't just a responsible and efficient dog caregiver. She is kind, loving, and fun. Our dog is always so excited to see her and I love it when I get cute photo updates. She is just the best. I cannot recommend her enough!
I have know Marissa for several years. She has cared for my dog many times. She is always kind, compassionate, and has a clear love of dogs! My dog has a very detailed schedule and Marissa has no problem makes sure it is followed! She is very reliable and I never have any concerns when she is caring for my dog! I would highly recommend Marissa!
