A Home Away From Home For Your Dog!

Pet care experience

I have been around dogs my whole life and love being around them. As does the other love of my life my husband Nestor. He is the other person who would be sharing in the dog experience of caring for their needs. I am a professional baker and my husband is a dog handler. We both love the responsibility of taking care of all types of dogs. As long as they are friendly with people and none aggressive we feel 100% comfortable caring for any breed. We truly value the entire experience of having a dog, from walking them, cuddling with them, and all the wonderful experiences one has with these sweet pups. We love being out doors and taking a friendly soul along with us. For us it's an easy transition bringing a new dog into our lives, and a wonderful experience giving and receiving their energy and love. My schedule is flexible during the week, and my husband Nestor's Schedule is even more flexible. We live in an apartment complex so no backyard. We can offer the doggy park for fetch play, and only use the doggy park when no other dogs are in it if you prefer. We have tons of doggy toys so playing inside is also fun, or if the pups are older we can juts let them relax and lounge at their own speed.

Thank you Marissa and Nestor for providing such great care for Coco! We appreciate your loving and attentive nature. Your place is her home away from home.

Marissa and Nestor are incredible, as always!! Their love of dogs really shows! Our dog Coco had such a wonderful time that she is depressed to be back at home as it is evident she misses Marissa and Nestor. Marissa and Nestor’s place is Coco’s home away from home…and we are ever so grateful!

I don't care for more than one dog at a time. if your dog is crate trained great. If they are not its fine as long as they are not destructive and house trained. We suggests meet and greets to put anxious dogs and dog parents at ease:)

Information Marissa D. would like to know about your pet

I would appreciate it if the client informed me of any medical issues with their dog before booking. Also if the dog is house trained and more or less if the dog is on a specific schedule as far as how many times a day he/she is walked. Does the dog bark a lot if left home for a few hrs.? And lastly, does the dog get along with other dogs and is he a protective dog or friendly around kids and other adults?

A typical day

Good morning kisses, followed by morning walk around 5-6AM, then pup is welcomed to chill on the couch or dog bed after they've had their breakfast. Playtime is a beautiful energy in our home, so there will be plenty of that, followed with sweet picture updates!:) Afternoon I will take your dog on a long walk either on a trail walk or Dog Park (if your pup is friendly and social with other dogs) located nicely within our apartment complex. It’s a great time to socialize with other dogs, get some exercise, and fresh air (mindful of heat) plenty of H2O for the pups during walks. I also like taking dogs with me on the weekends anywhere dogs are allowed such as bars/restaurants/shops. Lastly, the evening walk would be 10:00pm. All dogs love to sleep on our comfy couch; they are welcome to sleep on the couch or on our dog bed. I take into consideration any dietary needs, health issues, or any special requirements your dog may have. We provide: small/large dog bowls, doggy poop bags, doggy blankets, large dog bed, toys (balls etc.), and lots of LOVE!:)
