I have two dogs and have taken care of dogs in the past including walking and house-sitting. I am also reliable and communicative. I understand how to approach dogs based on their demeanor and can be very playful too! I love dogs and cats and am comfortable with other animals in the home.

Marissa took care of my cats 🐈 🐈⬛ Alani and Tanzi for 3 nights. We booked well in advance and I was very much grateful the schedule did not change, closer to the booking dates. My cats are usually very shy but the cats were comfortable with Marissa and they came out to greet her and Tanzi even showed her belly to Marissa—a sign of trust. One of my kitties had a hairball at one point and Marissa was kind enough to clean it up. Grateful for the care and attention that Marissa gave my cats 🐈 🐈⬛. I will cherish all the wonderful photos and video she shared of my kitties while I was away.
You can count on Marissa to take care of your furry family members. She did a great job taking care of Tanzi & Alani — my shy kitties made appearances despite having met Marissa for the first time. She sent delightful photos of my kitties which reassured me that the kitties were doing well while I was out.
Marissa is amazing! She has walked my dog when I’m out for the day and stayed at my house to dog sit for us while we were out of town. She sent us cute photos, was very responsive and respectful of our space. I would definitely recommend Marissa!!

A typical day
I love going on long walks outside and can take your dog on walks up to 4 miles! I can adjust my pace based on your dog’s activity and energy level. I love going to dog beaches, dog parks, and walking around neighborhoods. My favorites are the dog parks around Balboa Park, the Ocean Beach dog beach, and walking around the North Park area.

I’m currently working part-time. I am also a graduate student who is on break from classes over the summer. I have a very flexible schedule.
