Pet care experience
As a true animal lover, I practice what I preach and have been a vegan for over 7 years. Once I housesat for a week for an acquaintance who had a standard poodle, a cutie pie cockatiel, a flock of ducks and a hutch of chickens! I have also worked with farm animals and have experience with calming/reorienting animals and know when to leave them be. Because of my farming experience, I have no aversion to inclement weather and will be there rain or shine, freezing or blazing hot! Being able to be walked while their owner is unavailable not only benefits the animals, but I enjoy it as well because I am forced to stay active and spend time outdoors. I am very familiar with the bucks county and surrounding areas, as I have lived here my whole life.

Marissa is an awesome caretaker! You can really tell how much she loves animals. She was very flexible at the last minute when we really needed the help! Her demeanor was very comforting to me and our pup. Our dog is a bit nervous around new people and Marissa handled it really well! Marissa is an exceptional caretaker of any and all animals. She watches my rabbit, Dexter, when i’m out of town. She follows the directions I leave very closely and takes the extra time out to spend time with my rabbit just sitting with him and giving him love/attention which is something i’m grateful for. I know I can always count on her to take amazing care of my boy. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!
