Spayed and Neutered Dogs
No Females in Heat
I could not be happier with Dasha's stay with Marissa! I felt so comfortable having her stay with Marissa, her husband, and their sweet dog Tofu! Marissa was a communicative, down-to-earth, friendly dog sitter. I liked her method of meeting us on a dog walk together to see how our dogs got along. She asked relevant questions and was easy to coordinate with. During Dasha's stay, she sent me lots of pics and updates, and ...
Marissa is the best sitter we have had, she took care of our 1.5 year old corgi, Lola, for 2 weeks over the Christmas break. Of course we were sad to not be with her over the holidays, but Marissa sent us so many incredible photos daily of Lola and her dog Tofu have amazing adventures with each other alongside play and cuddle time. We are so happy to have found Marissa because we ...
Marissa takes better care of my dog than I do I swear
Let's hit the trail!
ABOUT MY BOARDING SERVICES:
To ensure that your dog gets my full attention, I only board one dog (or multiple dogs from the same household) at a time. I'll spoil your dog with treats, belly rubs and long walks! My family loves to go hiking in the various East Bay Regional Parks. Tofu prefers to go off-leash, but we can keep your "Buddy" on leash if you'd prefer. If your dog is high-energy, loves to ...
What Marissa would like to know about your dog
My dog Tofu is very playful and energetic. He loves to play with toys and other dogs inside our home. If your dog is sensitive to sharing toys (possessive behavior) and does not like social dogs, we may not be your perfect fit. As much as I love silver-haired pups, we can not host senior dogs with physical limitations.
In order to hit the trail, your dog must have generally good car-related skills (no barking or trying to get into the driver's seat). If you do not want your dog to go in the car, please let me know! I'd be happy to keep it to "neighborhood walks only".
Your dog also must be comfortable with both men and women, as I live with my husband.
We do live on a busy street, so your dog must be used to the street sounds that comes with an urban dwelling.
Finally, sometimes dogs may get a little "homesick"when introduced to new surroundings and people. I would love to keep your dog's usual routine as much as possible. Please let me know if your dog has had any behavior issues when boarding in the past, such as excessive barking, aggression, lack of appetite, anxiety licking, shaking or shivering.
