Pet care experience
I have always grown up around dogs. Having so much experience around them I understand the responsibility that comes with dog ownership. My last dog was a retriever mix and I now have an Australian Shepard, George. He is great with all dogs (and even cats!). I am comfortable with dogs big and small and my apartment is right across from a large park, perfect for playing and socializing with other dogs if that is what your dog is into :)

Marissa is the best dog mom I know! I have known her for many years and have left my own fur-children in her care many times without any concerns. I have also referred her to my god mother, who uses her regularly to take care of her 8 year old black lab. Marissa just has the great vibes that dogs are so keen to. My 4 year old boxer adores her. I am telling you, your dog will love Marissa more and more with every walk!

I can handle almost any kind of dog besides one that bites or snaps and people. Potty training must be in place to reduce accidents in the apartment. Kennel/Crate trained is a plus but if you know your dog is well behaved and won't have accidents or chew up my things, I am okay leaving them to wander around if I step out for a hour or two. Although I love, love, LOVE pit bulls, my apartments do not allow them so I cannot accommodate pits at this time.
A typical day
Walks, hikes, fishing and swimming are part of my weekly routine most weeks. So, if your dog is up to any of these activities, I love to bring them out to get some fresh air and sunshine. I also love to just play tug of war and fetch around the house. Hide and seek is fun too!
