Pet care experience
My name is Marissa. As an animal parent, I understand how nerve racking it can be leaving your dog in the care of hands that are not your own or someone you don't know very well. I certainly couldn't imagine leaving my dog in a kennel, either though! The thought of him not getting the personal love and attention that he has grown accustom to would eat at me the whole time I was away. That is why I am offering my services on Rover. I love animals and have had several dogs and cats growing up. (Also birds, hamsters, guinea pigs and fish!) I have so much love for animals, and your pets would be treated the way I treat my own. Each animal is different and love in different ways. I have worked with many types of animal personalities and can adapt to the needs of your pet while also providing the best care while you're away. My experience administering medication: I have administered a variety of medication to my dog as well as other dogs that have stayed in my care. I am very comfortable doing so in whichever manner your dog is used to. I have administered oral medication, eye medication and ear medication.

Another wonderful pet sitting job done by Marissa!
Extremely happy with Marissa. Our pup, Buddy, was with her for 23 days. She kept us updated on a regular basis. when we got back, Buddy seemed very happy and healthy while he stayed there. Marissa is an excellent care taker and we were stress free while on our vacation. Hey pup, Bubba is a very friendly dog too. Buddy enjoyed his company as well. I would recommend Marissa.
Buddy loved spending time with Bubba and Marissa. I've never left Buddy with a sitter before and I was very anxious about it. Marissa was very patient with me. She kept me posted about Buddy. I will certainly opt for Marissa again.
At the last minute I had to add an additional day to my pets' stay and Marissa was more than happy to work with me to figure it out. I wanted to add this additional review based on just that one experience because she saved the day :)!

This really depends on what you and your pet need! I am adaptable and know that not every animal is the same. I respect you, your pets, and your home/my home. I follow the schedule you set your pets and make sure they stay in a routine that is familiar with them. Separation anxiety is real for both pets and pet parents. I send updates including pictures to all of my clients as often or a little as you prefer.

I'd like to know their schedules and any restrictions/guidelines you have for them. I.e food, potty, bedtime, medications, etc. Also, their favorite activities and their experience with strangers and other dogs.
A typical day
I plan to spend a lot of time with your dog. I have a fully enclosed chain link fence where our pups can play and go potty. We have lot of toys and treats, but will follow any rules you have with their diets. You're the boss. We can also go on walks and to the dog park if you and your dog are comfortable with that.

Availability
I am lucky enough to spend most of my time at home. I work overnights three night a week and a lot of times I work from home. My calendar reflects my availability and I will always disclose with you times in which I will be away.
