I’ve had a way with our four-legged friends for as long as I can remember––my family always had a pup as part of our loving household. I was taking care of a stray German Shepherd until I could find her family, but we had to take her to the shelter since they were nowhere to be found, but luckily, she has been officially adopted! I hope to make taking care of dogs a real part of my life again. I mean, how cool is it to say that you love your job because you get to spend all day with such cute, little bundles of joy and unconditional love? Being able to share my day with these loving creatures would be super special and I would never take my responsibilities for granted. I will go above and beyond to make sure that the pups in my care are happy, healthy, and adored. From a very young age, I took care of two mixed breeds for close to fourteen years until they had to be put to sleep for various illnesses. They, a brother and sister, were truly my best friends when I was growing up. I’ve felt a deep loss since their passing, so it would mean the world to me to be able to reconnect with dogs again. I needed a little bit of time for my broken heart to heal, but now I’m ready to be around these wonderful furballs and bask in their infectious energy. In most times of sadness or grief, dogs really are a woman’s best friend. They know exactly how to comfort you, nestling their heads under your arm, sitting on their backs for some soothing belly rubs, giving you endless kisses. What I miss most is snuggling up with my dogs, feeling their warmth and calming breaths, or exploring the outdoors with them. I’m very active and love to play with our four-legged friends whenever I get the chance! But don’t get me wrong, I also love to snuggle up on a couch and spend the night watching a marathon of movies with them. Nothing makes me happier than to wake up next to these darlings! My daily schedule is pretty flexible but I work from home full-time, as well as work a couple of part-time jobs while I pursue other interests, but taking care of dogs is a real priority for me. Freedom to create my own schedule is really important, but to spend the day with a furry friend would make everything that much more magical. I’ll be around a lot to keep your pup company during the day and night, and your pup will become my companion! I may only be 29 years old, but my family says I have an old soul, especially when it comes to taking care of animals. I have also lived with cats from roommates. I absolutely treasure any and all animals, of all shapes and sizes....well, maybe except bugs. I’m super dependable, friendly, and loyal, and you can count on me for anything. Your beloved pup will become a part of my family, and I promise to do my very best to protect and nurture your best friend!
