My name is Marisa and I most definitely was born an animal person. I have grown up around dogs my whole life and have volunteered and worked at a couple of different animal shelters and also pet resorts, I provided the fur babies with companionship and a clean safe environment until they found their forever homes. Your dog will get my undivided attention and I’ll treat them just as well as I treat my own fur baby. I always make sure to keep my clients updated with pictures and videos so they feel comfortable and to release some of the anxiety of leaving their baby with a stranger. I do require meet and greets so you and your dog can get a sense of my character and make sure that I’m a good fit and know that your dog will be safe and loved. I am willing to watch dogs of any breed, I don’t discriminate. I also am comfortable watching any other animals you may have from lizards to guinea pigs! I hope after reading this that you think I’m a good fit and I get to know you and your fur baby and form a trusting relationship! ❤️ I am currently working on getting Pet CPR and First Aid certified!

Marisa was wonderful in caring for my elderly cays and dog. She sent me photos and communicated regularly. I could tell they were well cared for when I returned after 13 days. She is very responsible and an irreplaceable asset to Rover. Com.
Marisa is a gem. She stays in my home to care for my dogs. She arrives on time, follows directions to the letter, is flexible about staying a little longer if necessary, and takes wonderful care of my dogs. She is reliable, responsible, caring, and kind. My older dog has Chronic Kidney Failure and it is a challenge to get her to eat and take her medicine. Marisa was patient and persistent, taking care to prepare and present the food as I described, and was able to get her to eat much better than I feared. My younger dog is a rescue who is very distrustful and fearful of strangers, but Marisa kindly came to get to know her a bit before she had to stay for a weekend, and she is so calm and gentle that she won my dog over in record time. I highly recommend Marisa to anyone who needs care for their pets. Although I only have dogs, I have no doubt she is just as wonderful with cats or fish or turtles or anything else!
Marisa is the best cat sitter we have ever had. We've had cats for years, and we have lived in a variety of places, giving us the opportunity to have a variety of cat sitters. None come close to the care we received from Marisa. She was extremely communicative, texting us updates, photos, and videos during each visit. If there were any questions about the instructions we left for her, she asked for clarification. She let us know right away when one of our cats started vomiting--together we figured out the issue and she went above and beyond to solve it while we were away. She also offered other troubleshooting tips for our picky eater cat. One of our cats is pretty skittish, but he bonded right away with Marisa. In all honesty, by the time we got back, I think that the cats liked her more than they liked us! She definitely has a way with animals. Marisa is trustworthy, communicative, caring, and cared deeply for our cats. I would recommend her services to anyone.
Marisa is great! Her response time was quick and she was able to help me out last minute. She took great care of my girls as if they were her own and I know this because when she left they were sitting in the window watching her leave instead of wanting to hang our with me after just getting home!! Will definitely be booking their next stay with her and looking forward to becoming a repeat client.

I love to provide enrichment for dogs that can be stimulating both mentally and physically. I am always willing and love to take dogs on the rail trail or to a dog park.

Availability
Pet care will be my full time position. On the side I occasionally will DoorDash or Instacart shop for some extra cash but I never leave for more than a 2-3 hours! I also just started an Etsy business where I make and sell dog treats!
