Hi, I’m Marisa. I’ve been passionate about animals since I was little. Their entire world revolves around the care and affection we provide them. This is why I dedicate my time to making sure each pup I meet knows they are loved! I've interacted with almost every canine breed, and I haven't met a pooch yet that I couldn't get to love me! I had an abundance of pets growing up—my parents rescued as many animals as they could afford to care for. At times, we had up to 20 pets a once! I currently have a cat that I rescued three years ago when I found him wandering around the woods of West Virginia. I work full-time at an animal hospital as a Kennel Technician and I recently graduated school as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. I’m eager to continue my education in the veterinary field, my goal is one day to become a Veterinarian. I live in a private community in a house with a fenced-in yard. My neighborhood is very quiet, walkable, and pet-friendly. There are two small ponds near my home that my dog enjoys moseying around as well as huge lake and community park a few minutes down the road with over three miles of walking trails. In my free time, I pet sit for Rover. I have ample experience batheing and giving medications to animals, treating ill or disabled pets, and providing overall care. I’m also knowledgeable in behavioral training and have a lot of patience with difficult dogs. Since I’ve looked after pets with all kinds of personalities, disabilities, and quirks, I make the perfect caregiver for any animal.
