**I do work full time but my shifts vary and are typically 8 hour shifts. Depending on the specific needs of your pet, I can typically check on them multiple times a day.** I currently work in zoo animal care and as a veterinary technician. I have over 7 years of experience in vet medicine and over 5 years of experience caring for exotic animals. I am experience with giving injections, administering medication, positive reinforcement animal training, and more. I am familiar with caring for a wide variety of animals including but not limited to cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. When visiting your pets, I will contact you when arriving and leaving your home, and of course, send pictures of your beloved pets to you. I have experience working with all kinds of dogs (and cats!) from overly excited ones to timid, shy ones. I am willing to visit you and your pet as many times as you'd like before the time you need me to ensure your pet is comfortable with me, especially if they are typically timid. During Meet and Greets and during early morning or late night visits, my husband, Randy, may accompany me to ensure the safety of both myself and your pets. I can also provide baths, nail trims, and ear cleanings during my visits for an extra charge if your pet does not require a muzzle (unless you provide one I feel comfortable with, and given your pet doesn't become overly stressed) or sedative to do so. I know I'd want my pets to be treated with the utmost care when I'm away and can provide that same love and care while you are gone! My pets are my babies and, like any pet owner, I want them not to just be fed, exercised, and checked on, but to be safe, loved, and happy. I will do my best to provide the services you and your furry (or scaly or feathered) friend need!
