Dogs are pure happiness. They can always put a smile on my face. It seems as though they can always tell when you've been having a bad day or just need a friend, and they’re at your side. As a dog owner, I know what it’s like to be nervous about hiring a sitter, and entrusting your pet’s safety and security to someone else. That’s why I strive to be the type of sitter that I would look for when considering care for my own pets. I’m organized, outgoing, and adventurous, and the qualities that make me who I am also make me an exceptional sitter. When I was growing up, there was never a time when my family didn’t have a dog or two. Now, I have two of my own: Arlo and Zucchini. Everyday is an adventure with them! Over the years, I’ve gained experience working with all types of pup personalities, from outgoing to timid and cautious. I’ve also provided ongoing medical care and support for dogs with physical impairments. One dog I cared for had epilepsy and required daily administration of medications. Our family dog Nemo, who has three legs, keeps me extra-attentive--I’m always tuning in to see if there’s anything I can do to make him more comfortable and to make new spaces accessible to him. I love watching puppies grow up and guiding them through each milestone. I’m excited to collaborate with families to guarantee the best care for their furry family members. It’s important to me to start any potential sit with a meet-and-greet. I want to ensure that the dog is fully comfortable with me before I start the sit, so we can schedule multiple meetings if doing so can improve an extended stay. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule so I can work around whatever is best for your pet. Whether we spend our time adventuring outside, playing with toys, or maximizing belly rubs, your dog will be in the best possible care with me. ***Please note that my dog, Zucchini, will need to travel with me for house sitting trips. He is well-socialized with other dogs and attends doggy daycare multiple times per week. He will not be left unsupervised with any house sitting clients. I am happy to introduce everyone (dogs and humans) prior to booking to ensure everyone gets along!***
