Can’t have dogs so I dog sit!
Pet care experience
Alongside taking care of pets as a kid, I have been professionally dog sitting for the last 8 years. This has been in other people’s homes as well as my own. This has included feeding, walking, bathing, and plenty of play time! Thanks to my own personal routine being flexible, I’m able to accommodate the needs of the pets I watch. We have a backyard for quick potty trips and fetch, a walkable neighborhood with sidewalks and parks, and plenty of toys, a dog bed, and treats!

I know Marisa pretty personally, and in my opinion she would be an excellent pet caregiver. She is well versed in both human and animal interactions, as she’s spent many years as a babysitter and several summers as a volunteer at local zoo’s. Marisa has a big heart for animals that allows her to be alert to a dog’s emotional and physical health. From what I can remember, Marisa has dog-sat for many friends and family of hers several times!

I have a dog bed and plenty of toys that your dog can use! I keep small things and the trash put away and doors shut to the rooms that are off limits. At night I bring a dog bed into my room so the dog can sleep in my vicinity and does not have to be alone in the living room. During the day, I lay out the dog bed, blankets, and toys in the living room to give them a cozy space to hang out in.

Availability
During the school year, the only time the dog would be home alone is between 1:30pm and 5pm. After June 2nd, I will be available 24/7 and can take your dog on walks and potty breaks and feed whenever needed! I wake up around 6am daily and can start their daily routines as soon as needed.
